BENEDICTINE MONKS, WINE, CONTEMPORARY TAPESTRY AND MARILYN MONROE,
A GOOD COMBINATION

If you want to explore the life of the Benedictine monks and the history of the Monastery, if you are interested in wine-making and if you would like a unique suggestion for 20th century contemporary tapestry, you must visit the Sant Cugat Museums. And by the way, don’t forget the only museum in Europe dedicated to Marilyn Monroe.

The Monastery Museum, with an elegant and educational exhibition that includes models, touch screens and audiovisuals, shows the main characteristics of everyday life of the Benedictine community and the passage from the splendour of the medieval period to its gradual loss of influence.
